Breakfast was good
Parents did not supervise their kids at the pool and they were running up and on the waterslide, wearing dirty shoes in the pool area, etc. The hot tub was so hot we couldn't dip our feet into it. The pool and area was dirty. Two loud groups of people smoke and drank off the second floor area. Someone in the room beside us started barfing at about 6:00 am. The waitress for breakfast was fantastic, she just couldn't keep up, so the table was sticky and dirty from previous customers.
The free hot breakfast was a plus! Location is good too, right on the main freeway, close to malls and such. Staff is friendly.
Too expensive for what you get. I've had cheaper rooms at nicer hotels right downtown, but they book up fast. All of Sakatoon's hotels are expensive. Will book at a bed and breakfast next time.
Lack of cleanliness, smelled bad, paint peeling in washroom, shower ran between scalding hot and icy cold, staff ignored "do not disturb" tag, "free breakfast" was very poor quality, was hassled by front desk while preparing to check out, required hold on credit card to secure against room damage, was given room close to highway even though many rooms in quieter part of hotel were available, no area to store luggage
Nothing, it was the oldest and dirtiest place I have stayed. The heaters in the rooms did not work, we are pretty sure the bedding was not changed, and the front desk was rude when we expressed our concerns.
I was concerned that the deadbolts on the doors did not line up so basically they were useless.
The beds are stained..flip up when u sit on it..warped. Bathroom had no ceiling or insulation..real shit hole. Tv remote didnt work..coffee pot didnt work. Filthy behind furniture. Never stay there again. Waterslide were horrible, couldnt let child on them. Never again.
Quiet. Staff was courteous. Free newspaper.
Hair in bathroom, on floor and in tub. Lumpy beds. Shower water temp went randomly from cold to steaming hot! This was while you are showering! Sticky dirty breakfast tables. The breakfast was good, but served cold. The one and only waitress looked frazzled and was not organized. Cleared tables, but never wiped them! Will never stay here again.
A decent place if all you need is a night's sleep. If staying for a few days, pay a few dollars more and go elsewhere.
Carpets were the same as when I stayed there in 1989 (known as the Imperial 400). Also, if you are 6ft or taller, you'll have to shower on your knees - watch out for the ceiling in the bathroom as it's sagging.
I will never go there again! Air conditioning didn't work. The room smelt like smoke the pool was very dirty. Very noisy at all hours of the night. The tv's were not working and no one came to help. The chairs and sofa were stained and ripped
I liked the free breakfast deal. I liked the free cable. I liked the cleanliness of the rooms. I liked the customer service
I didn't like the fact that my room stunk like cigars after I asked for a non-smoking room. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for using the phone. I didn't like their overly priced items in the cafeteria ( I think a dollar for an apple is ridiculous and 50 cents for take-out is outrageous!)
Had excellent complementary breakfast in cafe with very good service. Very good location near centre of City.
Website says that it is newly renovated but air conditioner didn't function properly & carpet had cigarette burns in it but was classified as a non-smoking room. Advertising should accurately state what they are offering to travelers. Room with two queens had towels for two people not three.
I liked the location and surrounding businesses
I didnt like the room we got or the service at the restuarant.
Being bothered by young aboriginal pimp,s trying to sell hot girls
easy access and not hard to find
alot of foot traffic late at night and yelling
This place is sketchy as hell felt like I was downtown Detroit never going here again
The place needs some work, rooms smell stuffy and need a good cleaning
